At the Anne Fraser School of Dance we value the safety of our young dancers and to ensure their well-being, safe dance practices are followed in all classes by our well qualified and experienced faculty. 


JUNIOR SCHOOL: Students are accepted from 3 1⁄2 years of age.

Ballet students study the R.A.D. (Royal Academy of Dance) syllabus. With its headquarters in London, the RAD is recognised as one of the world’s leading and largest ballet training organisations, with its syllabi taught and examined in 84 countries around the world. www.rad.org.uk

Pre-school, Prep and Pre-Primary ballet students attend a stimulating 3/4 hour class each week. These classes incorporate expressive, imaginative movement to music and basic ballet technique.  

Primary ballet students attend one 1 hour class per week.

Grades 1 to 4 ballet students – attend two classes per week.

Jazz students study the CSTD Jazz syllabus and attend one class per week of either 1/2 hour, 3/4 hour or 1 hour depending on their age and technical level.

Tap students study the Glenn Wood Tap Syllabus and attend one 3/4 class per week.


Ballet studentsstudy the R.A.D. Vocational syllabi from Intermediate Foundation to Solo Seal. They attend three classes per week.

Contemporary students attend one 1 hour class per week. Their studies include the Graham, Limón, and Cunningham techniques within an open class framework.

Jazz students study the C.S.T.D. Modern Jazz syllabus and attend one 1 hour class per week. Open classes, which include a variety of styles, are also incorporated into their studies.

Tap students study the Glenn Wood Syllabus and attend one 1 hour class per week

PRIVATE LESSONS are available for Junior and Seniors students for exam and eisteddfod preparation.
