EVENTS FOR 2018:

Term Dates

1st Term:  Monday 29th January to Thursday 29th March - 9 weeks
2nd Term: Monday 16th April to Saturday 30th June - 11 weeks
3rd Term:  Monday 16th July to Saturday 22nd September - 10 weeks
4th Term:  Monday 8th October to Saturday 1st December - 8 weeks

 


EXAMINATIONS: Examinations give students a goal to work towards and help develop commitment and a higher level of technical accomplishment. They are encouraged but are non-compulsory.

R.A.D. Grades examinations – held in our studio each year in Term 3 or 4.

R.A.D. Vocational examinations – held in Brisbane each year in Term 2 and Term 3. Students may alternatively take these examinations in our own studio during the Grades examination sessions.

C.S.T.D. Modern Jazz examinations – held in our studio each year in Term 2 and/or Term 4 

Glenn Wood Tap examinations - held in our studio in Term 4

EISTEDDFODS: Students who have achieved a strong technical standard are eligible to take part in dance competitions throughout the year if they so wish.

CONCERT: Our biennial concert will be held this year, 2018, at the Events Centre Caloundra  on Friday 30th November and Saturday 1st December.

MASTER CLASSES WITH GUEST TEACHERS: Master classes with high profile guest teachers are offered to senior students each year. Our first planned Master Class for 2018 is with former student and now an artist with the Queensland Ballet, Tamara Hanton, on Sunday 25th March.
